Our wedding was perfect, so much so that I would get married every day and I can truly say I owe this to Hannah at Little Fish Events. I chose the bespoke service as I wanted to enjoy arranging of my wedding without it becoming too overwhelming. Hiring Hannah allowed my weekends away with no worries about what I should be organising.
I first met Hannah at the Yorkshire Brides show in the October after we got engaged in the January and we booked her services straight away. It was her personality and enthusiasm that made the decision for us right there on the spot. And it was the best decision we had made! Over a Gingerbread Latte and Muffin we chatted about ourselves, what Matthew and I liked etc and from this she created our storyboard. It was perfect and this was just from our first meeting. Months of reading magazines and searching the internet could not have got it so right. From then on we had only a couple of decisions to make and our wedding was arranged. Hannah relaxes you with her time scale and attention to every detail.
With the theme and colours chosen, the storyboard also gives you individual, different ideas to spark your interest. From comedy waiters, to statuettes, to an evening ice-cream van with colour co-ordinated flavours and candy floss, everything flows. Hannah’s invitations were like gift packs for our guests. There were sweet jars in the guest rooms and itinerary cards, and then drink tokens on the champagne glasses, which entertained the guest during the reception. The potted herbs used as favours with recipe tips on the name cards, to the tiny sparklers for our first dance, it was these touches that made our day extra special and different from a ‘normal’ wedding.
I had seen in London swags for a marquee with butterflies on and, having called the company, found out that we could not get them outside London. I then called Hannah and within a week and using her array of contacts I had the butterfly swags for my wedding. Our wedding was a weekend affair but Hannah's expertise didn't stop just on my wedding day, the idea of a summer BBQ and roulette table with our own printed money for the Friday evening was fantastic and a great ice breaker.
Hannah's dedication to you and your wedding is unquestionable. She is invaluable and I am pleased to say she is a friend I will cherish long after my wedding. Bring on the christening Parties!
