Where would any bride be without Hannah Skinner at Little Fish Events… every bride needs her!
We first met Hannah during preparations for my sister’s wedding in July 2005. Using Hannah’s creative flair and what seemed to be an endless supply of design ideas, my sister agreed on a brilliant wedding theme and her Wedding was a complete success. It will come as no surprise that when beginning to plan our special day my first thoughts were to call Hannah at Little Fish Events.
Through regular meetings and close liaison Hannah designed a story board which captured my ideas. Using her experience, contacts and unique creativity, Hannah was able to help me develop my ideas into a practical theme. She helped me source everything for the wedding, from a suitable florist, wedding car & carriage to a comedy waiter and chocolate fountain! She liaised with all of my suppliers and took the associated hassle away from me. Her attention to detail was outstanding. No stone was left unturned and nothing was left to chance. Throughout the whole experience she seemed to be at the end of the phone, willing to help any time of the day or evening. Consequently our wedding day went like clockwork, allowing my husband and me to relax, savour the experience and enjoy the company of our friends & family.
After arriving at our hotel at 7am on the morning of our wedding, Hannah set about working her magic. The hotel had unpacked and arranged the tables & chairs as instructed and the florist had delivered the flowers on the previous evening into a prearranged air conditioned room at the hotel. With beautiful flowers, bespoke table decorations, place names & favours, a brilliant table plan & the help of a few strategically placed tea lights and mood lighting our wedding reception room looked fabulous.
Little Fish Events produced all of our Wedding stationery, table plan and table decorations. Each invitation, place name, sign, order of service, confetti cone, glass token and thank you card were hand crafted, produced to an exacting standard and delivered on time.
Hannah helped us throughout the morning of the wedding. She arrived at my parents house with my matching tiara, necklace & earrings, button hole flowers for the groomsmen, my bouquet, the corsages and bridesmaids flowers. She helped us all get ready and kept one eye on the clock to ensure that we remained on track. Shortly before we were due to leave she delivered the flowers to the church. Our ushers were given the order of service booklets and were instructed to make their final checks. The wedding car arrived and our day began…
We have made a special friend of Hannah and want to say a big thank you from us both for your relentless help and support during and in the run up to our big day. With the help of Little Fish Events, our Wedding was exactly what we dreamed and hoped it would be.
